I would like to change the financial group that has my simple plan account. I have been told by a fiancial advisor that this is "no problem", but the book keeper at the company I work for says that all the employees accounts must be with one company.I sthis true?

Good question.

There are 2 simple forms, one that locks you in, one that open the company to many investment firms. Please get your bookkeeper to use the open form, it is on the same IRS page and a very similar but better solution for all except maybe the brokerage firm that is trying to keep you locked in.

Good luck!
